The brief

Working with a limited budget, deliver a cool intro sequence to BBC1's late night comedy awards show - try and capture the edginess of live stand up!

My contribution

Concepted, storyboarded, and directed an idea which portrayed a nervous 'gazelle' artist as he enters the lions den in the comedy jungle!

The shoot was on Super 16mm and all blurring was in camera - the DP cleverly used vaseline just in front of the lens, which gave a great look  & saved a ton in post production.

The edit was done by Theo Goble, the end logo I created & animated in After Effects
